On another note, last Sunday I attended the Barwon Heads Bowling Club’s 40th anniversary. It was clear to see from the sheer number of people who attended the celebration that this club is a very important part of the Barwon Heads community. It was also clear to see the many great memories and lifelong friendships that have been formed at the club over the last 40 years. I would like to make particular mention of Mr Les Jennings, Mrs Maureen Brooks, Mrs Sandra Green and all the Barwon Heads Bowling Club foundation and life members.
