(2) What was the dollar value of each of these grants.

The 2007-08 children’s capital program allocated the following grants to kindergartens located within the city of Ballarat:
Minor capital grants
One grant of $3000 was provided.
This grant was for minor capital works.
Renovation & refurbishment grants
One grant of $45 000 was provided.
This grant was for renovation and refurbishment works.
Children’s centre grants
One grant of $500 000 was provided.
This grant was for a children’s centre.
