To ask the Minister for Higher Education and Skills: In relation to the University of Ballarat’s TAFE program:
(1) In the 2011 calendar year, how many
(a) manufacturing courses were available for students to study; and
(b) students undertook study in manufacturing courses.
(2) At which campuses were manufacturing courses offered during the 2011 calendar year.
ANSWER:
I am informed as follows:
(1) In the 2011 calendar year:
(a) There were 17 manufacturing related courses offered by the University of Ballarat in 2011 based on the April 2011 TAFE Directory.
(b) 1342 students undertook study in manufacturing courses at the University of Ballarat in 2011.
(2) Manufacturing related courses were offered at the School of Mines Ballarat and Horsham campuses.
