The Allan Labor Government is getting on with providing families in Aireys Inlet with modern learning facilities, with the opening of new learning and play spaces at Aireys Inlet Primary School.
Labor Member for Western Victoria, Gayle Tierney today visited Aireys Inlet Primary School to officially open the $2.2 million upgrade project that includes a modernised main school building, upgraded library and a new art and music hub.
The school also received additional funding to upgrade its playground with new equipment.
In the past 9 years, the Government has invested $14.9 billion in building new schools and more than 1,940 school upgrades.
This investment will ensure every child can get a great education, our schools can cater for Victoria’s growing population and that our government schools are better equipped to prepare students for the 21st century.
